The Colorado Math Leaders will be sending out short meeting highlights and notes after each meeting this year. We hope this will help you feel connected when you are unable to make the meeting.
May 6, 2025 Highlights
Hello, Math Leaders!
I am officially your new CML President as of today's meeting. Thank you for this opportunity! 🥁
My first official act is to welcome our new President-Elect, Amber Gardner, and our new NCSM Representative, Maura Dudley.
On behalf of the CML Board, I invite you to fill out the two Google forms to inform our planning for the 25/26 school year.
- 25-26 Planning and Feedback Form
- 25-26 Book study interest form
Additional thanks go to our exiting board members. Katie Johnson has completed her 3-year leadership commitment and Tabitha Nickerson has completed her 2-year commitment as our NCSM Rep. John Fisher gets to hang out one more year in the role of Past-President and Dr. Raymond Johnson is our ever present anchor. 😊 Thanks to both of them!
We look forward to reading your feedback.
Math Task: Josh Anderson, Aspen High School, led us through an impressive Desmos that he used to help stakeholders understand and weigh in on budget decisions, including teacher salary. Definitely worth checking out!
