Hello Colorado Math Leaders!
Thank you for joining the May 5, 2026 CML meeting. We appreciate your continued collaboration and the thoughtful reflection you brought as we closed out the year together. This meeting served as our annual business meeting, focused on reflection, planning forward and celebrating members and leadership transitions. We extend our gratitude and appreciation to John Fischer for his three years of service and warmly welcome Erin Wahler-Cleveland as our incoming President-elect.
Updates were provided from CCTM, NCSM, CDE, the Colorado Math Pathways Task Force, and the High School Standards Revision Committee. These included upcoming events, opportunities for engagement, and continued progress on statewide initiatives. You can review full details by accessing the agenda and linked resources.
The Reflection and Planning Forward portion of the meeting centered on honoring the work of this year while gathering input to guide next steps. We spent time in breakout discussions to reflect on CML’s impact and share ideas for future priorities. This input will directly inform upcoming conversations with the Gates Affiliate group and help shape the direction of CML moving forward.
If you were not able to attend, please complete the reflection survey We also encourage everyone to share the survey within your networks to broaden input as we plan for the year ahead.
Thank you again for your leadership, your willingness to share, and your commitment to advancing high-quality mathematics teaching and learning across Colorado. We look forward to seeing you all again next school year!
