Thank you for joining the February 3, 2026 CML meeting. We appreciate the thoughtful participation, district insights, and continued collaboration across our statewide math leadership community. Below is a brief recap of key topics and next steps.
The focus of this meeting was to gather input for the Colorado Department of Education on the proposed revisions to the High School Mathematics Standards. CDE invited participants to engage as a focus group, sharing perspectives, questions, and considerations to help inform the ongoing revision process.
Updates were also provided from NCSM, CCTM, CDE, the Colorado Math Pathways Task Force, and the CML Book Study. Highlights included upcoming coaching labs and leadership opportunities through NCSM, conference and election updates from CCTM, continued work within the High School Pathways Task Force and Launch Years Special Interest Groups. The next meeting will be held on March 3, 2026, with a focus on the CDE Math Plan. We will continue to spotlight district work, including the structures and processes used to support educator learning through classroom visits.
