Thank you for joining the November 4, 2025 CML meeting. We appreciate the thoughtful conversation, district perspectives, and continued collaboration across our statewide math-leadership community. Below is a brief recap of key topics and next steps.
Our meeting centered on learning from NCSM conference takeaways and considering how those ideas can inform current district priorities. Lunch and Learn highlighted systems work in the early mathematics years including capacity-building, shared language, effective screeners, and pacing guidance that supports closing gaps. During Instructional Leadership Learning, we focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in mathematics and explored concrete ways leaders can help schools plan inclusive, engaging instruction.
Updates were provided from CCTM, NCSM, CDE, the Colorado Math Pathways Task Force, the High School Standards Revision Committee, and the CML Book Study. You can review full details by accessing the agenda and linked resources below.
The next meeting will be December 2, 2025, with continued district spotlights, and the final 30 minutes reserved for Special Interest Group open conversations. Next month, our CML Learning theme will be Elementary Math Leadership. We would love to feature a working intervention system, structures that build capacity among elementary math leaders, approaches to developing elementary content knowledge, or strategies for supporting K–5 co-teachers (SPED/CLDE).
