Thank you for joining the January 6, 2026 CML meeting. We appreciate the thoughtful participation, district updates, and collaboration among leaders across the state. Below is a brief recap of key topics and next steps.
Updates were provided from CCTM, NCSM, CDE, the Colorado Math Pathways Task Force, the High School Standards Revision Committee, and the CML Book Study. You can review full details by accessing the agenda, slides, and notes.
During the Instructional Leadership Learning portion, participants heard two spotlight sections focused on strengthening math systems through digital tools to support students and educators.
- Cherry Creek School District shared how their implementation of a digital supplemental math resource became a mechanism for systemic improvement across schools. Their goals emphasize using digital math practice to strengthen, not replace, core instruction, and building sustainable elementary math leadership capacity through opt-in scaling and shared ownership.
- Digital Promise co-designed a set of free resources to help math teachers and coaches use technology to promote conceptual learning and conduct formative assessment as part of their iCoachTEAM (Instructional Coaching for Tech-Enhanced Approaches in Mathematics) initiative. They shared the free tools that can be found on their website, including technology resource selection guide, strategies for high quality mathematics instruction, and observation tool for technology use.
